The Cape Doctor Series (named after the infamous South Easter wind that blows everything away) offers world-class one-design racing in one of the most exciting sailing venues in the world. Hosted primarily in Cape Town, the series combines competitive racing, high level race management, all packaged in a relaxed low key atmosphere and vibrant social lifestyle within a compact seasonal calendar.
This information sheet provides an overview of the race calendar, the Notice of Series structure, and practical logistical considerations for teams planning to campaign in the upcoming Cape Doctor Series.

1. RACE FORMAT
The Cape 31 South African Series consists of 8 windward/leeward race weekends across the season.
